Red Bulborbs are one of the most well-known enemies in the Pikmin series, appearing in all games. The Red Bulborb was formerly known as the Spotty Bulborb, but its name was altered after Olimar discovered other subspecies with spotted patterns.

The first game in the Pikmin series was Pikmin 1. On October 26, 2001, it was released on the Nintendo GameCube. Pikmin 2, the sequel, was published three years later on April 29, 2004. Pikmin 3, which was published on July 13, 2013, on the Wii U, was released nine years later. Hey! Pikmin, a spin-off title, has been released since the release of the third iteration.

Squash is a recurring character in the Plants vs. Zombies game series. Squash squashes zombies he sees, either ahead of him or behind him, doing huge damage to all zombies on that tile, acting as an immediate Potato Mine with greater range.

Fume-shroom is a recurring character in the Plants vs. Zombies video game series. Fume-shroom is a mushroom that attacks zombies by emitting powerful gases. Fumes shot by Fume-shroom may pierce through several zombies as well as various zombie armor in most games.

Blover is a single-use plant in Plants vs. Zombies as well as their Chinese spin-offs. He can be used to blow away fogs on screen, along with any Balloon Zombies, instantly killing them in the process. This makes him an environment modifier.

Splatoon 1 is a Nintendo-developed and published third-person shooter released in 2015. The game revolves around paintball-style Turf Wars between Inklings who compete to cover the most ground with weaponized ink. The game was first revealed at E3 2014 and was released on May 29, 2015, on the Wii U.
