Cactus is a recurring character in the Plants vs. Zombies pc game series. Cactus defends the player's brains by shooting zombies with spikes.

Jalapeno is a frequent character in the Plants vs. Zombies video game series. They explode to deliver high damage to zombies, similar to Cherry Bombs, but Jalapeno deals heavy damage to all zombies in a lane rather than the 3x3 area of a Cherry Bomb.

Wall-nut is a recurring character in the Plants vs. Zombies video game series. They're defensive plants that can't attack back (except in Wall-nut Bowling and Wall-nut Bowling 2), but instead use their massive levels of health to keep zombies at bay.

Twin Sunflower is a recurring character in the Plants vs. Zombies game series. Twin Sunflower is a sun-producing plant that, as the name implies, produces twice as much sunlight as a regular Sunflower.

Squash is a recurring character in the Plants vs. Zombies game series. Squash squashes zombies he sees, either ahead of him or behind him, doing huge damage to all zombies on that tile, acting as an immediate Potato Mine with greater range.

Crazy Dave ate his taco, and in order to eat it again, he wants to time-travel, and the player is introduced to his partner, Penny, a time-traveling supercar. Unfortunately, they returned to Ancient Egypt, showing that they had time traveled 4500 years. And the journey continues!

Some of Mario's speech snippets from Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario 64 DS are reused.
